Alright...ive been bugged enough and finally got a new camera.

Deal...not at all. I paid top dollar for this thing. I wanted one really bad though...and most are in 44-40, very rare in 44 russian and 44MH and to top it off they are non existent this side of the border. Thats why i had to pay so bloody much. There are several 44-40 versions south of the border for far less than i paid but of course 44-40's arent antique :mad:

I did manage to pick up a parts gun with a better barrel and loading gate so i can fix er up. It will be a slow project. If im lucky i might have it shooting regularily by the end of summer. I did manage to get it out to the range and try a few loads through it last week. Does it ever feel nice. perfectly balanced (with the short barrel) and smooth as can be with a nice full 44R load.
