HK P7 PSP Club

What kind of tools are you using to install sights on an M13?
Was using a sight pusher,and it's a P7.
My own fault, the sight was too thin to push it there.

i have a set of these coming now.Going to have to shorten the dovetail on the rear, but they should be good.

My own fault, I should have brought my gun to a gunsmith to install the sights.

You've broken the trigger AND a night site? WTF man? Why not hire a professional gunsmith to do your gunsmithing? Seems it would be cheaper if nothing else?

Who installs their own night sights?

Please say you're not doing this yourself.

If you need a gunsmith, there are a few near you that could be recommended.

I don't pay people to do things for me,i'd rather pay for the learning experience.
That way I know how to do it and broaden my knowledge.

Now i know better for next time.

Well i know how to push sights, these ones just had really thin walls due to being drilled out for the Tritium tubes.

I'll drop it, but I'll just say, a gunsmith would have told you that before you started pushing, for less than the price of fixing the damage. Read up on Cylinder and Slides web site for their notes to customers on Trijicon sight installs/zeroing for some more on it.

OK, I'll really drop it after I say, P7 slides ain't cheap!

Quick question can we use the P7 in IPSC and PPC?

I shot my PSP in one PPC match. Burned the crap out of my finger at around the 120 shots fired mark. Other than the burned skin it worked pretty well, of course my score with full bore FMJ ammo was less than the guys with the slicked up 38 specials shooting wadcutters at 375 fps... :D

Mine should arrive at the end of the week, anyone have some pics of the P7's that they have bought from Walt?

Even the M8's with the 'heat shield' on the trigger gets really hot after about 50 rounds or so. It's not really the gun to use for extended bouts of fire, unless it's winter time.
