Many years ago, down in the States, I owned one, but never shot it. They're very expensive, very collectable, and I was afraid of busting something that I couldn't replace. There is a modern variation (rather an odd gun, actually) made in Italy, called the Mateba, which is also an "automatic" revolver. The Mateba shoots very softly with little felt recoil because all that recoiling mass soaks up the recoil impulse, and it's pretty accurate. The W-Fs were made in a few different calibres, but the Mateba is found only in .38/.357 and .44 Mag.
