fabsports

I just contacted fabsports about the new nordic stock, and plan on buying it when it comes in...closest thing to an AR that I've seen, at a fraction of the cost. I've got so much invested into my 10/22 now, what's a little more, to have a wicked gun that no one else around here will have, and everyone will drool over!!!

at all the people whining about an extra 60$. He's in business to make money, did you expect him to perform all the hard work without compensation?

Besides, it's 60 f*cking dollars: if you're so broke and stingy that such an amount gives you an aneurysm, you're in the wrong sport. Take up checkers or chess, you'll have less to spend on and it'll be more intellectually rewarding.

well said, i got mine from him this week and am extremely happy... i love this stock...

+1 for fabrice for getting me this stuff.

Well, seriously you know?

I never understood the amount of b*tching people made in the firearms community over an extra ~50$, especially on stuff that's worth over 500$. I can somewhat understand people's reaction to an added 25%, but in the grand scheme of things in the shooting sports, it's so negligible as to be laughable that people complain about it.

If you were talking about the @ssraping us H&K fans get with Nichols, I could understand. An extra 300$ takes it toll... but not 50$.

Getting oddball stuff in isn't cheap.
You don't like the price? get one in yourself and find out what the costs really are.

I've had nothing but good dealing with fabsports and they shipped promptly and at no great expense.

Support Canadian business and quit #####ing like little ####ing kids. The big bad Montreal guy is charging me $50 more for a thing I don't need anyways.

AH MUFFIN!

I got a T-6 stock and its nothing fancy , but does the job well ... really for 100$ Im happy with it , alot of plastic parts yes.. but is feels solid enough..

I dealt with Fabsports last month for the first time and I must say I was very impressed with the fast service and the prices were definately competetive. I think he is working very hard to anticipate what customers want and that is one reason I will be supporting FABSPORTS with more business in the future.:D

You know one thing he does is, the minute he is out of stock on a particular item, that item comes off the web site until he's restocked. Go to Marstars web site and they have tons of stuff listed but most of it is "out of stock". Like their Leapers scopes. They've been out of stock for I don't know how long on most of the scopes and it seems it never changes. So why bother even looking anymore.

All I can say to Fabsports is keep up the good work. We appreciate your efforts and you have gained my support.:)

Fab

Fabrice's heengleesh not so good but he understands real good. I have had excellent communications with him both on the phone and e-mail. He has procured hard to get items for me and when he ships it shows up real fast. A pleasure doing business with him.
Since folding stocks are being prohibited from export by the yanks get em while Fabrice still can get em. :D

I had my Tactical Innovations mags to my door in 4 or 5 days. I think that getting them shipped from the US would have taken a lot longer and had to deal with customs. Good dealings in my books.

Fabrice is a good guy to deal with. Send you a proper invoice before billing, nice guy, I'd trust him.

Plus I met him halfway on the language barrier and spoke some decent frenglish with him. :)

And I got good value.

I'm looking at some stuff from Fabsports, got a quote, and just decided to check the forum before actually odering (in case there's a large number of people saying he's a scammer or something).

So far, all I've heard is that everyone has had good dealings with him, and I have to admit myself, he is VERY prompt at e-mails and getting quotes out (I had my quote in less than 3 hours. EXCELLENT customer service from a dealer who I haven't even bought anything from yet !

You know it's funny. People on this very board complain that we are losing firearm dealers left right and center in this country and we need to support them. Yet, when the final landed cost is $60 more on a several hundred dollar item, we bit** and moan about how we could have got it in the USA for cheaper. Let's not forget that if shipping with a cargo company there might be brokerage charges that show up in the mail a few weeks after the part arrives, possibly negating any savings.

Seriously, if it's available in this country at a decent price (obvious if you can buy it for $50 in the USA and dealers in Canada are charging $375, that margin is unacceptable), why are we complaining about it ?

Those of you who don't support local business when we need to most don't deserve any better.

exactly

I did mention the absurdity of complaining about moderate price increases for local services in the past. People just like whining and waving the flag. ;)

It's not a cheap hobby, and if a 20% increase in price on an item of less than 300$ makes you flip out, you definitely didn't choose your sport/activity properly. Perhaps light reading or board games might better fit your budget...

Is Fabrice even still logging onto the forum anymore ? Here's a dealer that seems to genuinely care about customer service (from my limited experience thus far with him). For him to not even bother with Canada's largest online firearms community because of the way he's been treated here, well, that makes me feel ashamed. We all say we promote our sport and we all stand united... yeah, right

Based on some of the nonsense I've seen in this thread, I will DEFINATELY be purchasing from Fabrice.
