Broughton Barrels

Any opinions , my smith has suggested that i try one of these for my 338-06 project , they look pretty good so far , they even boast 1/2 moa if everything else is done right . & the canted lands make a lot of sense .

I have heard nothing but positive results with guys using Broughton barrels.
I have not used many myself, but would not dissuade anyone from them.

So far I have only fitted two of these, one in 6.5 and the other was a 30 cal both performed beyond the expectations of their owners.
I did not import these but the shooters supplied me with the blanks which they picked up while in competitions in the U.S.
I am unaware of a Canadian source for these barrels. David.

That was a though decision . I the end i was pursuaded into going with a 700.

By the looks of the order form on their web site they ship right to Canada . As far as I know bbl blank's can be shipped here no problem .

Yup . I think im gonna go with an stainless SPS 700 action a broughton bbl & maybe a boyds stock , it's probably going to be a winter project though , unless i sell some others off . Get my homework done & start buying components . Get my smith to finnish it off this winter .
