Salut!

Don't worry, CGN is the best place to learn about guns and many others things!
Guys are friendly and patient with us!
I honed my writing skills here and now some guys wrote me " Are you from Calgary, Toronto, BC?"

Maybe I'm inproving, maybe guys who live in the above mentionned places don't know how to spell...:D

Bienvenue!
Eric

we need all the people interested in firearms on this site. so keep asking questions, you will receive answers----maybe even the correct ones..lol

Tanks everybody,

It is the great forum to learn english and many more!

Welcome, bumping308.

I'm french, too. Born and raised in the west, though. This board welcomes everyone who shares in our passion for firearms and/or shooting sports. Some individuals aren't as tolerant, but they'll get their knuckles rapped if they voice their bigotry here.

You will find the odd poster making fun of your english, if it makes it hard to understand what you mean. I don't want to tell you your business, but you might consider putting a comment in your signature line to the effect of "Please forgive my English - I'm still learning the language." Doing this should help other members realise that you're not stupid or uneducated, just writing in a language other than your mother tongue. It might keep the dogs off your back until you feel more confident in english.

The best I saw so far was:

"Excuse my English, I had a accident."

I wish I came with this one!:D

Bienvenue!

You'll like this board. There is lots of knowledge, tons of help and a whole slew of opinions...never boring.

Don't worry about the spelling and language 'police', just enjoy the guns.
