Hello Gents, I'm trying to determine value of the above noted pieces for my Dad. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you may offer as to market value.

Thanks in advance.

GEW 98 - Danzig 1917 All #'s seem to match (no strikeouts) bolt has been bent & wood cut. Many marks including what appears to be 2 different eagles.

US Model of 1917 Eddystone appears intact & properly configured except for cut wood. Show British proof marks as well as US "flaming bomb"

Sporterized Gew98: $150-200 MAX as a deer gun.

Sporterized M1917: $200, mostly as a nice action for a future big game rifle build that happens to have some crappy stuff attached to it at present.

I wonder though if this Gew98 is a Nazi era rework. He did mention several types of eagles present. In that case, the bent bolt could have been done by the Snazi's during refit to K98k standards. Obviously the wood cut is bubba though so either way it is a sporter now.

Pictures would be quite useful here.

+1, the values are good to me, $150 for the M1917

Maybe not in the USA, but in Canada there is! Plenty of Canadian WW2 Veterans will swear to it.
