CZ/VZ main spring warning

Dont and I mean dont take the main spring off unless its broke.I got a parts kit and spent 1.5 hrs and lost 2.5 fingernails getting one onto the cover.Finally managed to pull most of the spring on an hold it with a small punch then swore my head off and pulled it on the rest of the way.Its a ##### to say the least.If theres an easier way I would like to know.Dave.
 
What are you calling the 'main spring'? Are you sure you are going through the right steps to break the rifle down? This thing busts apart in about 10 seconds and goes back together just as fast.

HEHEHE Sorry Dave but that sounds hilarious :D

I think Ive seen a faq somewhere someone using a straw to hold the guide in place, while you slide the recoil spring on, its been a while, just can't remember where though
 
I just put it on as far as it is easy to do, hook block on guide wire through side of spring then thread the spring over block. It takes about 5 minutes of turning it to thread it all the way on but it is easy.
