Dropped by Bass Pro last night,, cases upon cases of Remmington UMC .223

DON'T GET EXCITED

the days of $5.79 a box are over,,NEW price is $9.49 a box

Which of course would explain why there was still cases in the store.

agreed, Also, I called LeBaron in Markham a couple of days ago and they said they had 5 bricks - 5 (500 round) cases of this stuff.

I was going to go and grab them all until I thought to myself that I really should start reloading considering all the left over brass I had. I just ordered all the handloading stuff.... I can't wait

Bass pro price went up a month ago. I was there yesterday. The cage was PACKED with .223. No one is going to buy that crap at that price, I told the sales guy that....and he agreed. LOL

+1 on reloading. Cheaper and you can fine tune the load to match the platform you are shooting with.
