Becoming Outdoors Woman

Becoming outdoors women, can be a long rough road, first the operation, then all the hormone shots.....no thanks!!!

I'd get this for my girlfriend - looks like it would be fun.

Edit - It's in BC! ....crud... it already happend.

Should do a CGN'er sponsored send daughters/girls/girlfriends/wives/mothers to camp summer...

My wife went to a few in Ontario. She found them interesting, but geared a bit too much to the beginner.
That pretty much has to be the way it is done however, and she knows that. She was telling me about some of the other women in the course. Women who had never seen an animal in the wild, had never gone fishing, never fired a gun. For them, the course was a major step in their lives, they loved everything ....... except the bugs.

Ya John I found them to be that way as well. I few hardcore hunters but the rest hadnt been outside too much. It was a nice vacation though. A weekend without cooking and cleaning. I cant say too much of I will break our code " what happens at WOW stays at WOW" lol

The BOW program is also offered here on the Rock. From our club's (the St. John's Rod & Gun Club) advertisement:

"The Next "Becoming An Outdoors Woman Program" is scheduled for June 27-29,2008 at Burry Heights on the Salmonier Line.

This program is offered by the The Department of Environment and Conservation, Wildlife Division. The registration fee of $170.00 covers two nights accommodations, seven meals from lunch on Friday to lunch on Sunday and course instruction. You get to choose four courses from an amazing list which includes: canoeing, outdoor survival, map and compass, fly fishing, rifle, shotgun, hiking/backpacking and much more.

The program is for beginners."
