haha! Hawk I bet you talk exactly the way you type, eh? That made me laugh reading this.
Good on you for not appreciating Bubba's work, I don't like it either... makes me cry in fact, that's why I started to de-Bubba rifles, and it's very satisfying. You should try it too, as you can buy parts, stocks etc quite often and learn alot putting things right that once went wrong.

You're a big meany.

When I buy parts to de-sporterize.. I always think about the guns that those parts came off of... it feels like I'm de-bubbaing only at the expense of another military rifle.

Skirsons, I see what you're saying, but that's really like crying over spilt milk.
You can't save those that have already gone to the big armory in the sky. :D

sorry bout the lack of grammar but it becomes a bit of a challange to even see the screen after thne better part of a botle of rum as for de bubba'n that will eventually be a major hobby but untill i can get my feet under me and my own place thatll have to wait

A Bubba job is when someone gits a hacksaw an chops off the forend, throws away the handgaurds, drills the reciever for a Huntin site or a scope, varnishes the wood, fits a recoil pad, chequers the stock with a wood rasp, and thinks he has done made a valable huntin rifle.
(spelling intentional)

Possibly, but the other gun might have been damaged and unusable, or slated for destruction by the government. Or, it might actually be an unissued spare part meant to refurbish your rifle. I have bought many of them over the years.

You're right about it being a shame though, if they were dismantling a perfectly serviceable firearm, just to part it out.

With the shape of some of the numrich parts, it's hard to imagine that they did not come off a military rifle... maybe they are damaged.. but I don't know how... perhaps shot out bores.

You are a brave man, or reckless as me to post while full o' rum. Are you aware that every keystroke is recorded somewhere on the internet forever, and can come back to haunt you?

(If I could erase some of mine... :( )
