Whats a good 9mm handgun for someone with smaller hands?

singlestack 1911 in 9mm. i have a g17 but I prefer the 1911 in 9mm single
 
The Browning BDM is another nice option for people witj smaller hand...

Just barrel and mag. The 9mm may even work in the 7.62 mag, with a bit of rattling about. I got both barrels and mags from Lever Arms, they don't have them at the moment.
 
I'd vote for the XD-9 or CZ 75. You can get either for around $600 right now.

I have large hands so they all feel good, and I like all the ones mentioned above for different reason's. But small hands, I'd go cz-75 or MP. I have big hands and those are my favorites; however, I really think they would feel good with a smaller hand.
PS. I think the MP look great and it's sweeter and sweeter the more you shoot it :D man it's nice.

Kershaw you sound like me, similar tastes, I don't like the S&W MP either. I do own a Beretta 92F and have no problem as I have small hands too. My friend has an XD and I have fired it no problem. I like the CZ too. Comes down to price and availability, and finding parts/service is a concern when you deal with makes like the STI 1911. Re-sale too is a consideration.Beretta 92F would probably be your best bet.
 
Beretta is a great gun, but I've never heard of anyone recommending it for someone with small hands. It's fairly large and heavy for a 9mm

I have avarage size hands and 92Fs fits me just fine...I can conect my thumb and inder finger without pulling a trigger. Same with M&P, But I can't do it with 1911, P226 or P220...

You do realize there is a difference between "small" and "average"?
 
As noted above, Baby Eagle. My kids use it without any problems except DA trigger pull is a bit long.

Browning Hi Power has a great grip for small hands.
 
I dont know if you will give this comment any thought, but I want to share. My first handgun was a 9mm CZ and it was a good gun. I recently bought my second, tho. It is a .22LR Ruger 22/45. I highly recommend getting a .22LR... well I mean if money is no concern get a pimped out 9mm, but .22LR is so cheap and liberating to shoot. I shot off several hundred rounds at the range today which woulda cost me close to $100 in 9mm but was probably like $10 in .22LR. The ruger is still really fun to shoot and probably easier to learn on. It costs less to buy too.

When I first thought of a .22LR handgun they didn't seem appealing cause they dont look like a traditional handgun and are just less boomy, but I was wrong they really are fun.

Maybe get a cheaper 9mm and a .22 as well.

My choice would be a Browning Hi Power
 
My first gun was the M&P, awsome gun all around. Never had a jam, miss fire or anything and i've put out about 2500 rounds. The changable palm sweels are great though, perfect for tiny hands. This was the first gun my g/f shot and her hands are tiny. Hold it once and you'll love it.
 
Forget any double stack if you want small hands.

Got a Para and CZ75b in .40 and both are for medium to big.
 
Just starting shooting. I have fairly small hands.

I ordered a P30L sometime ago but it has been pushed from mid to late june to late summer...

Could not wait that long to own my first gun so I went for a P99AS until I get the P30L.

I received the P99 this week, I put the small backstrap and my shooting skill instantly improved... I shot beretta 92fs, glock 22, sig P229 and a S&W M&P. The P99 is the best fit for me so far... cant wait to try the P30.

I have small hands and my 92FS fits me quite well. You can also get the conversion kits for them and shoot .22.
 
you did say smaller hands... I have size 7's (XS glove) thought the CZ was a little big.. but the glocks, S&W 59's, 1911 single stack all work just fine .. I love my 1911's but that's just me...
