Colt 1911A1 @ Sgi Salvage

SGI Salvage in Saskatoon has a Colt 1911A1 for sale if anyones interested in it.
I went and had a look, but as the firearms guy had already left I wasnt able to handle it.

Not really ... likely a recovery or salvage from a claim .... theft, or maybe even fire or flood ...

Because they'd have already paid the owner's claim before it was recovered, so it now belongs to SGI ....

According to the website the serial number is: 1750648, which means the frame is a 1944 mfg Remington Rand if indeed it is a 1911A-1 USGI pistol.

By the crappy pic it looks to be in pretty rough shape....

BTW, they need to take some of their profits & buy a new digital or teach who ever takes their pics to do a better job....
