Difference betwee P226 Stainless and Solid Steel?

How about posting a pic and your price. I just checked your site and could only find the "regular" 226 listed. I would be interested in seeing one. How much of a weight difference is there between an all steel and an alloy framed Sig?

It looks exactly like a P226. It has no rail. Weight is very much heavier than an alloy framed gun. Cost is $1500.

ARRRGH.. I still can't find it on your site. I see the regular 226 and the CPO's but not an SL. Do you have ths Ilafon coated version or the all stainless?

Didn't the Navy Special Warfare 226 have a Stainless steel slide and frame coated in the SIG black finish with the anchor engraved on it? I would be interested in a steel framed SIG or a good Norc 226 copy in steel rather than aluminum alloy.

The P226 Navy is alu-frame. Yes, frame, slide and internals were coated with anti-corrosion stuff.

hey redleg, is it possible to see an actual picture of the SL, i too have been trying to track a pic down on the net somewhere with no luck. no one even on the sigforum have one. (only a few floating around the states) but people say that Ilafon coating gives it something extra and is supposed to be different than the nitron.

It looks exactly like a P226 with no rail. The finish is different than the Nitron, but I am not a good enough photographer to show it in a picture.
