TB I know your trying but it is falling on deaf ears literally...
I'm curious when did a cartridge become a rifle?
Let me clear up the misunderstanding for those that are uninformed...
As a comparison lets look at the 30-06 it is actually an amazing round that is extremely versatile but then along came the 300WM that reached out with an extremely flat trajectory and killed things with an authority that the 30-06 could only dream of.
In other words when comparing the performance of either the 30-06 or 300WM the WM was devastating to animals.
The same holds true for the 375H&H/Ruger cartridges when you compare them to the 375RUM yes they will do the job but not with the amazing authority of the RUM...
I have shot many animals with a 375 H&H with 300gr Partitions which as you know is exactly the same performance of your Ruger and I well know the capabilities of the rounds but it just doesn't stand up to the flat shooting capabilities of the RUM in performance no matter what rifle it is chambered in.
When an animal is hit by the high velocity RUM it is bang/flop and the stopping power and flatter trajectory with identical bullets that are used in the lowly cartridges is unbelievably more.
Because I am an OPO (thanks Omega

) I don't want a Jack of all trades that bows to the true Masters/Kings...
Will the Jack get the job done by all means it will just not in the absolutely flat shooting/high impact way that the true King can.
I'm also a gun nut and do not limit myself to only one rifle/cartridge on a trip as I have said before I take the true Masters with me and switch to the the most appropriate rifle/cartridge that conditions warrant because I can.
I can do it with one rifle like you and
Gate are promoting but were is the fun in that?
Same reason I carry the true Master of the handgun cartridges the 454 Casull in a chopped 4.25" SRH made for me by another master Gunnar @ Armco, I shoot a 454 Casull handgun because if you were to compare it's performance to the 45 Colt the same holds true for these cartridges as it does for the comparisons I gave above...
Yeah I now shoot the King of the 375's not the Jack...
