New Winchester Teddy Roosevelt Ammunition

[28 gauge]

Just looking at the new 2008 Winchester Ammunition Catalogue.This year they have listed Teddy Roosevelt collectors ammuniton in .45 Colt,.30-30 Winchester and .405 Winchester.The cartridges are nickel-plated and have a Roosevelt headstamp.

Would not mind having a box or two of the .405.Would look nice along side my .405 Model 1895 Winchester.

I know Hornady makes .405 ammunition but it is nice to see Winchester manufacturing some again.

I wouldn't mind a Rosevelt Marked .405 for my Collection.I have a remington marked one right now and am looking for a winchester.

I have all the Winchester Commemorative ammunition in full boxes except....

100th anniverwary Model 94 (1894-1994)...I think they made it in 150gr PP, but I've never seen any.

CPR (Canadian Pacific) .32 Winchester Special...I think they made a very limited run, but have conflicting reports as to whether they did or did not.

Might add a box of Browning Model 71 in .348 WIN to the collection as well...but now when I want one I can't find any at the gun shows...

Also need the Boy Scout box of .22RF

I have just had a phone call with Olin Canada. There will be NO ONE box of these ammo in Canada. People should have ordered this ammo before. Now seems it is too late. I am very disappointed to hear that NO ONE gun shop, no one gun dealer or distributor have ordered a few of this ammo. Maybe they were not sure to be able to resale this ammo quickly ? Maybe they were affraid of taking the risk of loosing a few bucks ? Even if this ammo resale for double the price very soon ..I cannot congratulate the professionnals, the only people who were able to order this Commemorative ammo. Olin Canada first ...
