My first gun was a ruger 10/22. Reliable, fun to build-up, easy on the wallet (I was 16 @ the time). Many years ago I sold it when I moved out of my parent's home, no fac ya see. Since then I've built lots of toys up, Ar15, glocks, sks etc.etc. After spending another 80 bucks throwing lead down range on monday, I longed for the old days. On a whim yesterday I went and bought a stainless 10/22 (rainy day shooter) and today I ordered up the stock, scope ,mounts, mags, muzzle brake ... you know the usual. My logic is if I shoot my ruger half the time I'm at the range, It'll pay for itself in six months. At least thats what I plan on telling my wife- gun number two this month...
