Anyone in Canada make match quality .303 barrels? It would be neat to make a bull barrelled P-14 sniper on a thumbhole stock and Timney trigger.Harold

Given the selection of .308 bullets, you could use a .30 barrel and chamber for .30-.303; or even go to .30-40.

I believe Bits of Pieces carries 303 barrels, and Steve Redgwell makes quality bullets in all sizes for the 303.

303 barrels are available from Ron Smith and Bevan King in Canada (not sure if Bevan is still active). They are available from Shilen, McGowan, MRC, Krieger and probably some others in the States.
The last Sierra match bullets I got were over sized at .3116 and didn't shoot well in my rifle. In fact, the Speer 180 grain RN bullets shoot better. I will probably rebarrel to 30/40 Krag just due to bullet availability. The 303 barrel will get turned down and installed on a sporter. Regards, Bill.

Hornady makes a very nice 174 boattail FMJ. Great consistency for weight and diameter.

Just checked, 311 matchking still listed
