Banana clip for 597 remington????

I have a friend who has a remington 597 in .22 magnum. He wants to know if there are banana clips available such as 25,30, or 50 round clips made for these. And if there are , where in canada could such a clip be purchased?
Please help us out as he is a big varmint hunter and is sick to death of the 8 shot clips that he seems only to able to find.

Ask Remington - seriously. They seemd to have finally listened re: the .22 LR version. And if they do a large-cap WMR, they'll sell like hotcakes.
 
I was tinkering with a "high-cap" mag for my 17hmr at one point it wouldn't work past about 11 because of the necked cartrige design, .22mag might work better.

Basically disassemble two magazines, remove one follower insert piece of pencil replace spring cut a piece of creditcard in section of follower, pin credit card with two bits of plastic from a pen (to keep spring aligned) replace top follower and hold magazines together with tape. It ain't pretty but what are you going to do???
 
I suppose you could get fancy with a mitre saw and start piecing sections to make a bananna profile...
