''backpacker'' stock

I have a crossman ''backpacker''pellet rifle which I really like-is there any aftermarket stock like that for a regular 22? Its just a nice compact package-feels ''right''

Browning has a little carbine out based on their Buck Mark pistol that might be what you're looking for.

I've even wondered about using the backpacker buttstock for a mold to make a fiberglass stock to fit my marlin 795-don't know if thats feasable or not

As long as your OAL stays over 26",it's all up to you want you want to do

I think the krinker plinker with the longer barrel and the collapsible stock is my choice for a 'carrying on a hike' rifle. I have a nordic too, but its not as collapsible.

that model of the crossman pellet rifle is known as a ''backpacker''-possably because the buttstock can be easily separated from the main body.A folder would probably accomplish the same thing

Backpacker would not necessarily mean foldable.
I think light weight would suffice.

correct-a folder would be nice as being compact--but lightweight would be essential.I noticed the folders are described as ''welded open''-is there a folder thats legal in Canada?

All the folders are legal as long as your overall length stays above 26"
