Do you guys know of any store or person that's got 7.62 NATO ammo for sale? All the regulars seem to be out for now.

Thanks.

none at the moment i am aware of. i got lucky in the ee with norseman, i think i got one of 3 remaining intact cases (1260rounds) in canada possibly.

Our PMC shipment is landing 17 July in Vancouver. So there should be some available within a few weeks of that.

There is lots in Bashaw for sale but shipping would be a pita.
It's SA surplus ball ammo.Sorry gents I was just informed
by a member that the shop in question will not ship out of AB.

You made a big deal about finding out how much it costs to reload...
..Then you make a deal about buying a case of 'one shot ammo'

I'm getting rid of my S/A .308.

I just ordered 400 rounds from a place called Zefarm. Delivered to my door taxes in was $230. shipped today and it will be here on Wednesday.

Can enyone tell me if this stuff is reloadable? It looks like the primers are crimped in. I think that it is 1970 production, I wonder about being corrosive?

Thank you

not making a big deal dude. just setting you straight. put up bud, show me where you can find a case of surplus 7.62x51. don't change the subject, that is trollish.
if you can find some let this poster know, if assistance is a word you comprehend.

eta. i did not make a big deal over reloading, more the fact that shooting in itself is getting grossly overpriced and hard to find good sources for certain items.

honestly i don't know about those. if its berdan primed i would stay away from reloading as it will be a pita. generally surplus brass is not the best to reload, neck cracks i've been told are a big issue.

tdmx2, the ammo is Czech made 144gr. FMJ-BT , steel core, berdan primed and is corrosive. I've seen them head stamped 69 as well as 70 and that is the year of manufacture. They are manufactured for use in the VZ59N Czech machine gun.

Au contraire.
Good surplus brass is great.
Generally, military brass is thicker than commercial brass, and if it is boxer primed certainly worth reloading.
I have reloaded SA surplus 7,62 and Swiss 7,5 GP11 brass, but it just isn't worth the effort.
Some of my US GI brass has gone through my Norc M-14 at least six or seven times and is still useable.
I'm still using some 1944 DIZ .303 brass that I've had for a few decades.

I was there not long ago, seems like its corrosive from what I was told here by our experts, even though I believe the guy a zfarm said it was not.
