Does anyone know where I can get a fake suppressor for my AR..like the ones on Spike's Tactical? I can't seem to find any Canadian dealers with them.

I want to add a flare launcher to my 11.5" Ar but I dont want the launcher to extend past the end of the barrel. The can is the only thing I can think of to prevent it. Plus, I think it looks good.

Any ppl out there with the Havoc 37mm launcher on they're 11.5" rifle?

Here is a pic of the ones I had made for a bunch of retro builds. These were taken from drawings of an actual XM177 brake. Then we skipped a couple of steps for manufacturing ease and they are obviously hollow. We also went with a slightly(I mean pube hair) smaller diameter tube simply for asthetics sake as the ultra realistic one just didn't look right in the guns with skinny barrels. The bottom is a pic of one mounted on my 10.3" Stag. These ones are just cold blued to preserve them as some were parked and others teflon coated, painted etc etc. They are approx. 12 cm long. The real ones were never 5" long like the bushmaster cheapies. I suppose technically these are fake cans as the BATFE classified them as suppressors.

Better pic of a Parked one a buddy cleaned up and put some rough checkering on.

+1 to MFI.

I have an MFI fake can for my Mark23. I rarely use it because it doesn't hold open the last round (not an issue for a rifle), but it looks damn cool, and i get some: --> :D of those looks from people wanting to check it out.

If it hides the long barrel, and it makes you happy, then dont care what anybody else says.

I don't think that the Spike's "Fake Can" is what you're looking for. They do not extend the length of the barrel... it screws back over the barrel flush adding no length to the barrel... the thread is inside the can at the FRONT of the unit not at the rear... this means you CANNOT install them on a 10.5" or even a 14.5" AR. They are designed to install on a 16" and essentially cover up the barrel extending out past the front sight post. They make a 16" CAR setup look like a 10.5" gun with a suppressor.

We are in the process of bringing some in and plan to be stocking them in the near future... price is expected to be @ $79.00

I believe there is one version that is an ET (end thread) version that is solely to add barrel length.
