So I bought 2 boxes of 9mm, 135gr Lead RN. You know, just for s**ts and giggles, try it out. Wasn't really that cheap either, only $2 a box cheaper.

This ammo is CRAP!!! Can I say it agian... CRAP!!!!!!!!!

What a waste of money. It was all over the place and the stink.
No word of a lie....after my 3rd shot I had to stop for a minute because I could not see the target!(indoor range)
There was so much smoke I thought I was shooting a musket:runaway:
I shot 15 rounds and stopped.
I think either I will donate this crap or take it apart and ship it back to Wolf and tell him his product sucks...

135 grain bullets are heavy for a 9mm. However, the poor accuracy just means your pistol doesn't like that ammo.
Indoors you will get smoke. Despite the powder being called smokeless.

I bought this ammo before and didn't like it. It was a real mess, smoky dirty stuff.

Would not buy again, or recommend it to anyone.

The money saved is spent on cleaning products to get all the grime out of your firearms.

Does not say anything on the box about excessive smoke because they are lead RN.
@ $11 a box I expect a quality product.

Do you need the box to tell you not to stand in front of fired projectiles?
Do you need the box to tell you not to eat them?

Edit to add: I'm not trying to be too much of a smart ass :)

Lead bullets are lubed, which smokes and so does the lead.

Should have spent the buck or two more on Plated bullets.

And where are you buying Factory for $13/box?
Nothing cheaper than $15/box up here with $16-$18 being standard.

Used to buy wolf reloads all the time then when they started keyholing at 25 yards I stopped. Tried some more a couple of years later and found they were very inaccurate. A shame , as they used to be my favorite reloads at a great price. :(

I could tell you some stories about Mr Hoffman.. But to some it would be sour grapes... So best to let sleeping dogs lie...

However on a general note.. Lead is smokier then jacketed and lubed gets even worse... 231 is a pressure sensitive powder... It's meant for lower pressure rounds... too much powder or too much pressure and you can hide in the resulting smoke...

It also dosn't say on the box that you shouldn't spit into the wind...or how to make chocolate cake ;)

But anyone who's ever fired lead rounds...or been next to someone who;s firing lead rounds knows how smokey they will be.

If you don't like the smell of lube burning, stop being such a tight wad and poney up for some FMJ
