Pistols with Croatian & Bosnian Policia staff

Just travelling between Bosnia & Herzegovina AND Croatia along the Dalmatian coastline and I could not help but observe the boomsticks in their holsters.

Glocks seem to be the pistol of choice among the Croatian polizia staff as well as the B&H border guards. Even a super attractive Bosnian (female of course) border guard who was going over our passports as we ventured toward Mostar. :D

Will be in Slovenia in a couple of days and I'll report back, then.... :rolleyes:

for some reason they have some real hotties working as border cops

safe travels, some beautiful country out there but still lots of mines laying around that part of the world
 
Tomorrow I am heading up to Bled, Slovenia. I will keep an eye out for their Border Guards' pistols ! Will get back to ya !

I am still in Poland for another week and most of the cops are issued Glocks 17, I see some Walther P99, and some Polish P84.

Okay, back to the Croatia/ Slovenia border crossing that I did this AM. I had to get off the bus and have my passport stamped. They are wearing Berettas (Likely a 92 or 96 series). That's all I could see from the limited exposure I had sitting on the tour bus and then heading inside the office. Did not want to make things look too suspicious. :rolleyes:

In Lake Bled (near Ljublijana ) area for the next 3 days. Very cool place !

When i was in Bosnia in 2003 the Tactical Support Unit (TSU) or the Bosnian Swat team basically carried glocks...the regular beat cops carried CZ 75...the TSU guys were actually super fit and pretty well trained was fun working with them.
