I promised a range report so here it is!
There had been a lot of swiss arms pictures and "group size oriented" reports already, so I won't be repeating it here.
Due to the retarded 5rds limit, only 210 rounds of 5.56 and .223 (Federal, Winchester Q and UMC) were fired - rifle was zeroed at 50 and 200 yards. With 6 mags, I was working as quickly as I could already before the sky turned dark.
What I have: Swiss Arms Carbine, old PRI rail made for the TSE, Surefire M520 dedicated forearm 9V system and Aimpoint Comp M4 ( TSE JR must be dinning on steak and lobster for the money he made off me!

Shooting:
I quickly zeroed the rifle at 200 yards and then headed to do 50 yards shooting. I ran through 90 rounds by alternating between 2 shots standing and 2 shots prone. The rifle was noticeable heavier than my AR setup. Recoil was noticeably softer than the AR, more of a push than a bang. After about 60 rounds, the handguard was getting pretty hot, especially in the area around the gas exhaust and the gas block. Good thing I was wearing Nomex gloves..... it will be too warm for barehands to be comfortable.
Starting at 25yard, the softer recoil started making a difference. I don't really shoot swiss arms alot - but I "felt" I was shooting faster with the following up shots than with the 9mm AR. On the other hand, I found the stock just a bit too long, and it makes it a bit harder for me to shoot on advance.
After doing over 40 mags changes, my trigger finger hurts. Also, since I have smaller hands, it is impossible for me to manipulate the safety with my thumb at the ready position.
