Just looking for some Shok buffers for my CZ Tactical Sport. London Arms is sold out, Wolverine doesn't have any. Even Angus at Ghost Holster, a USA dealer doesn't have any. Anyone else got some I can buy?

Not sure why these are so hard to find. There are several CZ shooters here in Manitoba that could use a good supplier of these and other parts.:runaway::runaway::runaway:

If Dave at London Arms (who supplies all of Canada) and Angus don't have them, I doubt anyone in North America has them. Try going east - try the CZ factory or one of the european gun dealer websites maybe?

I thought about going right to the factory for parts, but I figure the cost of shipping would be horrible :runaway:. I should look into it before dismissing it anyways.

How many people use shok buffs in their competition guns?

About how many rounds do you get out of those ones? I have the black ones that come with the gun, and I only get about 800 rounds and they are shot. The good thing is that I get them for half the price ($5.00) of the ones from Brownell"s. If they last longer then the price difference might be worth it.

The black ones are quite hard, how are these ones?

To be honest, I haven't used my CZs that much since installing the recoil buffers. However, if you read the text on the Brownell's link I provided, it states: "Change every 1000 rounds for best results".

What is a Shok buffers for my CZ Tactical Sport?

I have a CZ shadow.

Did you click on my link? It has a picture and it explains how it works.

BTW, if you're using your Shadow in IPSC Production Division, you can't use recoil buffers and still be division compliant......

It's a small flat, sort-of-round piece of plastic, (like a washer) that goes over the guide rod. When the slide comes back it hits the buffer instead of the frame. This way there is no metal on metal contact.
