Gonna be in Prague sometime soon...And I understand that as long as I am not bringing back guns or unpinned mags all is good. So where can I go that speaks English and sells accessories?:D

Also, preferably within a reasonable distance of their main trainstation, but that may be asking too much:D

prague is a fair size city ....but you can get anywhere by transit.
the main ones in prague are BVS, Slezská 73, 130 00 Praha 3,
and Hermex, Konevova 75 Praha 3, ArsenalCZ etc..... lot of good shops all over Czech Rep.

mostly eveywhere you go someone speaks english..... last time when I was downtown ...I was looking for someone who still speaks czech ;)

Thanks!
So how close are the google maps locations to their actual locations?
Feel free to edit the image and re post it with an arrow at the exact location if it is off:D

That poster has not posted since 2006, so if he responds, I would be surprised.
I also read some old posts from a couple years ago where folding stocks over there started at 4 dollars and up
What sort of prices should I expect on other things?
I already paid for a nice folding stock from palinak...I really hope I do not see them for 4 dollars over there:D:eek:
Hopefully some good prices on forward handguards, and some non-wood pistol grips

If prices are too good I might have to bother asking for permission to the EE :D:D

I am fine bringing stuff like this back though?

I don't know anything about him (even his name is mysterious), except that he lives in Slovakia. But he might know something if information is all you need. As for me, I probably wouldn't walk down the murky path of Eastern European gun trading if I was you.

I am not sure if your last sentence was a joke or a warning? I just want to bring back cheap accessories for myself, is this not kosher?

Bah...went there and BVS was closed both days I checked. Never saw anything good. I was unaware it was closed on sat and sun, or at least I assume the sign on the door of BVS in czech meant closed, as it was locked up very well.

sorry to hear that .....if you are still there let me know I can send you some other contacts ....but don't expect too much cheap stuff ...all their products regarding 58s has gone up exponentially once they realized there is a demand for it.

I don't think Ill be there again, I am in Germany currently, and I don't expect Ill be taking another train back to Prague, I can only go places on weekends, I am on a summer internship in Germany.
But here is a pic, of some old guns in the museum in the castle in Prague. And the girls there...:eek::eek::eek::dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Back in '95 I think I might have left behind a dozen babies in Poland and Czech! :D The women were good-looking, interested in foreigners, and I was rich in hard currency.

I bet the days of 50 cent Guinness pints are gone in Prague.

yup ..... I was there first time in 90 excatly 10 years after we escaped .....I ended staying a whole year and 5 dollars got the whole pub drunk.

in 97 I was there also for a year that was about .50 for pint.......today you have to stay away from the tourist spots and you can still drink for about a 1.20 a pint.
