Hi guys,

My AR-15 rifle came with a Canadian-spec C-Products 5-30 magazine which naturally works flawlessly. I want to buy another magazine and want to stay with the C-Products brand. Does anybody know which of our sponsors "carry" those specific magazines?

Thanks.

Merci ...

Hi Tornado,

Thanks ... I checked them both. They're $45 at TS and $34.99 (plus a $25 surcharge for an "under-$75" order) at Questar.

Too bad Questar doesn't charge $37.50/each ... then I could buy two and save that $25 surcharge!!!

I'm assuming that shipping charges are comparable.

Incidentally, Marstar charges $85 for what they briefly describe as a Top Quality OEM version. Made of titanium and carbon-fibre?

Why? nothing special about the C-products mag, buy some of the 10rd mags from Questar.

Those would be C Products mags.

Ya? I thought the were made by RRA. The only thing special about them is they hold 10rds legally.

I think he was asking about those 5/30rd C-product mags that are lanced, lanced mags suck.

The CProducts 30/5 lanced magazines are Stainless Steel (not aluminum as is the case with most other brands of 30 round mags). The Stainless tend not to give feed lip issues, etc. over time which the aluminum mags are noted for.

Our CP-LAR15-223-10 magazines (10 round AR magazines) are in fact made for us by CProducts. While they are stamped as being made for use in the RRA AR Pistol they are NOT made by RRA. CProducts actually makes them for us to the specifications approved by the RCMP in their classification ruling.

We sell both.

As for the $75.00 minimum order that is NOT written in stone and we've never charged someone a S/C because they fell a couple dollars "short". Two mags @ $34.99 = $69.98 plus 5% GST = $73.48 plus shipping which would put your order over the $75.00 level.

What we are getting away from were the people who wanted to order a $1.00 spring or a $12.00 part and then complain that the shipping cost more than item they were ordering. We can't afford to handle that kind of stuff.... simple as that. I guess we could if we added $10 extra to each magazine we sold... but I'd rather give you our best price on each item and then be up front about our minimum order value.

In the end you choose to buy where you want from who you want.... as it should be. It's good to have choices in life :)

Merci!

Hi Mark,

Many thanks ... I'll be ordering later today ... a lanced 5/30 magazine and a couple of CP-LAR15-223-10 magazines.

I'll look at the website a bit more and perhaps find something else that I really need :). Could you recommend (or better yet, sell to me) a modest riser (to replace the carry-handle) that will raise my soon-to-arrive $180 Bushnell Trophy 1x32 Red Dot just enough to clear the top of the front sight?

Speedy!

Mark,

Wow ... what took you so long to reply?! Thank you.

The UTG rail looks like it's a bit more than I need. I'd like it all to look as "clean" as possible ... no intention of mounting anything else.

Just curious ... does the see-thru feature make it a bit higher than is necessary to "clear" that front post? (I'm trying to keep it as low as possible.)
