B&T TP9 Carbine

if questar could bring these in for ~1200 with 10 round mags i think they would be a hit

and i love that holster for it

dvr-so by your thinking there is no need for berreta storms, or pistol caliber ARs (both of which are quite popular). pistol caliber carbines are fun to shoot, and cheaper than a rifle carbine in ammo costs. paper doesnt know the difference in bullet power so who cares

If the TP9-Pistol mags are labelled as "Pistol" in anyway, then you can rock 10rnd mags. If not, special 10-rnd mags will have to be made for use in the TP9-Pistol and labelled as such; I don't think there are enough in the country to accomodate that.

That is NOT correct. Simply labelling the magazines with the word "Pistol" will only get you charged with possession of prohibited devices.

The magazines have to be designed and manufactured right from the start as Pistol Magazines for use in a Pistol (not a rifle)... otherwise as far as RCMP/CFC is concerned they are still rifle magazines and therefore limited to 5 rounds.

You'd have to get someone to design, and build from scratch a run of pistol version magazines... that means deep pockets and large volumes... good luck.

I like the Limted Edition "Desert Tan" version by DeWalt.

So it looks like we wont be getting any 10 rndrs:(
I might have to consider something else.

Someone was working on this and were turned down by the CFC. About a years worth of work shot down the s**tter. I don't know the specifics as to why it was a no go, but it was definitely dissappointing to hear.

These are accurate rifles with the proper optics (Eotech). Mine is registered as a RI (rifle) and is worth the hassle to own and shoot. 9mm in a rifle configuration is rather accurate for range plinking. More accurate that other DAO type 9mm's (i.e. Glock).

For the guys who wonder why someone would want one? Maybe you should actually shoot one and realize that owning one isn't just tacticool but rather interesting. $$$ is worth it (but thats always relative). 5 rounds in an AR15 also sucks ass - but this is a smaller and more compact package to most 9mm AR15 types.

Im looking to mount a mini red-dot on mine ;)

Have you tried to bring in a TP9 pistol? Its marketed as a pistol right from the manufacturer. If you can tell me its a pistol and its mags aswell, I will buy one.

Had one, although it was fun to shoot, I found it more of a novelty than anything. Much like my DE, I bought it shot it and then sold it and never looked back.
