Don't know if this was already posted but CSC will be replacing the old revolvers with the H&K P2000. Same pistol as US Customs and Border Protection.
This must have come out too late for CBSA? If not they should have got that.

I would like to think I had something to do with this. ;) I answered a questionare about various things I thought a duty pistol should have and offered two choices,...the M&P,,,and the HK P2000,..or P30L. My write up was submitted and passed along the ladder to Ottawa as I was told. I actually thought CSC would cheap out and get the M&P,...but I said the P2000 was already in service by many agencies. Someone took me seriously.:D

....and yes,..we are getting it. I was forwarded the email with the decision.

Good work. Now press them for MP7s. You know, zombies...

more 9mm ammo will be needed,..the .38 will be no longer in use. That is a plus,..!
I used an HK USP 9mm for 3+years in IPSC,...it is very reliable and is basically the same gun,...sans the DA/SA trigger. This P2000 will be a DAO. (non-lem)
the mag and slide release is ambi,...and the grips are adjustable in the rear panel. The USP series of pistols are the most reliable pistols in use. I would have 100% confidence in this pistol for duty useage or competition.

I wasn't aware that some of them were still using revolvers!!
I asked the Bro-in law a few years back and he told me H&K ?
Maybe only the ERT use them, I'll have to ask!

So I Googled HK P2000...
