Anyone have the NEW Nosler manual and data for the 160gr. Accubond in 7mm Rem Mag?

I am particular interested in the most accurate loads tested(if they still have this feature) and H1000, RL22 or Retumbo loads.

Thanx in advance.

Funny you should ask - spent last night loading exactly that.

RL22: Start 59.0 grs (most accurate) max 63.0 grs
: 63.0 grs @ 3058 fps
: 61.0 grs @ 2963
: 59.0 grs @ 2868

Most accurate powder tested was Vihtavuori N165 (I can't find any)

No listings for H1000 or Retumbo

I used RL19 - a bit more flexible for me in other calibers but I'm going to give RL25 a try - just wish they'd sell 1000 gr or so "try-out volumes"

My own personal experience has shown that the supposed "most accurate loads" mean very little since each gun has it's own preference. In some cases, the supposed "most accurate load" has been one of the least accurate loads in my rifles.

In my experience, somewhere between 61.5 to 63 grains of IMR 4831 is a universally excellent load with any 160-grain bullet in the 7mm Remington Magnum. In fact, when playing with a new rifle in this caliber, this is what I always start with, in order to test the basic accuracy of the rifle. If this load doesn't work, I'd assume that the scope or the rifle had a problem.

RL 22 is not my first choice of powder because it is temperature sensitive.

Does anyone experience this or is it internet myth?

If you develope a load in summer it will have different P.O.I in November when it is -10 or 20 degs?

Well thats good to hear. I have lots of IMR4831 and have yet to start loading with 160grn accubonds.

the 7mmRM is my backup rifle and I have just decided to use accubonds in all my faster hunting rifles (25-06, 7mmRM, 300WM)

Just been a little busy with other projects

I have not found R-22 to behave much different in changing temperatures than other powders.

Hodgdon has 2 test packs that I have seen. Four .25lbs containers in a box. I can't remember exact #'s but one for large caliber one for small caliber.
