I saw a bubba'd LE today with a five shot mag. It may have been a jungle carbine. Which of the LE rifles came equipped with a five shot mag? I should have taken a closer look. Tks. Dave
Thanks ####. I am headed back to take a better look. I don't believe it's an EAL as the stock is crummy and there is no butt pad. I am going to take my headspace guages to check it for them and measure the barrel. Dave

I have two No.4's that were bubba'd, one came with a commercial 5 round mag and the other I bought with the help of a member here. It is quite different from the other one and suspect it to be an altered mag, quite nice all the same. The one I bought 2 yrs ago cost me about $60.00.
5 round mags are made from issue mags. A lot of places Stateside say 5 rounds in any rifle used for hunting with no exceptions. Some are done well, some aren't.
The only rifles that came with the five shot mag are the Lee Metford or Lee Enfield carbines or the RIC's and the New Zealand pattern carbines. All pre or early 1900's
Anything else is a commercial magazine.
