SAGE EBR scope mount?

Question is - is it necessary to use a three point scope mount on the EBR system, or are there commercially available 2 point mounts? I would prefer something that attaches to the top rail and stripper clip guide and not the actual reciever.

Will the rear attachment piont of the SPR-E LT-139 slide into the stripper clip housing once it is removed? Looking at the diagram, I'm not clear on how the rear piont is mounted.

It mounts out on the forward railed hand guard.
Even though the guide is missing in this picture, your stripper clip guide remains unmolested.

by where the obective lense is sitting it looks like you should be able to use regular optics
