By the way the JAG’s name in the IDF is Mike, I worked with him a few times. He’s extremely good at what he does. He’s very modest and down to earth despite his high rank.
I worked with him in 1997 when he was building a program in “Mitkan adam” for the M16 A3. and worked with him after words in the implementation of the program in south Lebanon. It was a great privilege.

Doesn't apply to manually operated firearms (bolt,slide,pump action etc), or to rimfires, for that matter
