Not sure if this will go here or in shooting games section...

..but just wondering if anyone has any holster suggestions for an HK P7M8 for eventual use in IDPA.

Can't seem to find anything in Canada here, so may have to order from the states...and the "good" brands have very long wait lists...so what is good in the meantime.

Thanks.

You're telling me?! I had to wait six months for an IWB holster from Milt Sparks for my PSP.

Nice holster, though. When my brother tried it out, the gun disappeared the moment he dropped his shirt over top -- not a wrinkle, not a bulge, just gone!

Doesn't work quite that well on me, unfortunately. If you are checking me for a concealed weapon, you will be able to see the signs when I wear it. :(

Sorry I can't help with any quick fix. You could try a cheapy Uncle Mike's generic holster; I have a paddle holster that fits a lot of automatics including the P7.

I just tried it out -- not bad at all. :dancingbanana:

Holster

Order one direct from Blade Tech. I own three holsters from them all ordered direct when they are for non standard Handguns. The Shooting Edge carries Blade Tech but not any for the P7 series. IMHO these are top shelf holsters.

Try Comp-tac as well. Kydex but they do make a leather/kydex with snaps like the Alessi CQCS.

They ship within a week or two. Very fast and good quality.

I have a DelFatti holster for P7M8 but use Comptac single magpouches with quick on/off clip which is very secure. Also easy to arrange single pouches around belt loops. I find leather magpouches can be really tight but kydex is adjustable. They only cost $25 too.

1. Buy a cheapie holster that gets you up and running...guns need holsters.
2. Order a Delfatti ISP3 along with a single mag/light holder and start the wait...all good things are worth waiting for.
