Yep, My range doesn't allow any shot :(
(So, if it's restricted ...I can't take it out and have fun with it)

Damn our restricted laws suck!~

That has nothing to do with the restricted laws, just the bylaws of the club. Too bad! You could always take it up to the trap range (if it was non-retricted) and set up a free standing target couldn't you? That would be great, imagine the wringing of hands and consternation by the trap guys when they see a short barreled double on their range:eek:...I'd pay good money to see it actually:D:D.

So if and when you get yours bring it out and shoot trap. But don't be a pussy and shoot a static target, take a position on the line and shoot targets in the air. As I said earlier in this thread it would be good for a laugh.

It wouldn't be the first time someone has used a short shotgun to shoot clays. I've done it a few times. No consternation or hand wringing was noted.

I'd probably buy a coach gun version if the price was right. Looks like a lot of fun, and not a bad little bear defense tool :)

comments Deleted :) cause I don't want it locked.

Edit - it's cool if you don't want it. But It would make a fun range plinker IMHO. Just like all my other hanguns that I'm only allowed to use at the range. To me it's just a hangun, like all the others out there, it looks mean, but so does a desert eagle.

Desert Eagle, Mean? Desert eagle is 100% ###y:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

I tried shooting clays with an 18 inch defender one time...there were lots of laughs by my buddy and I...it's quite hard (or at least I found it hard). The resident caretaker at the time watched with some amusement. He wandered over and gave us some pointers and ripped through every one we threw up there with the hand launcher thing (even using that thing I found hard). Now trying this with a an even shorter shotgun would be impossible for me:redface:. I'm sure you could make it look easy...:)

Not real trap or skeet, but it shows what might be possible. :D

I'm lost here. For starters its a shotgun, short of running slugs the shotgun would be suitable for clay pigeons or small game(oh sh*t, its restricted). For either purpose a stock and a set of usable sights are highly desirable.

It doesn't look mean, its looks stupid...Just like the desert eagle!!!!

Restricted would probably lose it's allure fairly quickly for many - but a non restricted would be a whole lotta fun.

First off - i doubt it would be very light. With a decent pad i'm sure it'd be no more 'gun' to shoot than an 18 inch pump. It's compact, and once you get used to it i bet it would suprise you how well you could hit with it. Great fun for hikes, capable of a number of saftey and defense as well as hunting roles, and it's something 'different', it's something new to learn to shoot well.

I wouldn't spend a LOT of money on one - but i'd spend a few bucks and probably be pretty happy i did :)
