What would it take to get a vz 58 to accept .308win?

By the time you pay for it, it would be cheaper to just get a Valmet M78.

Make a list of what VZ58 parts could be used in a 7.62x51 version. It would likely be a shorter list than the one of parts that could not be used.

Well the most important parts would be the trigger mech etc. Pretty much everything else except the furnature would have to be new.

I really can't see thing costing over $4k to build.

haha what industry you in ?

remember , no pistol grips, 30 round mags, or flash hiders .. unless u get your E-cat license ( probably easier than its made out to be.. i might go for mine this year )

I do commercial interiors. I've actually been batting around the idea of doing 6mo either there or aussie land.
