I have come across a Mauser 98K with the original bolt and matching numbers with a ERMA ERFURT MAUSER 22 LR CONVERSION installed... seems to be in great shape...

He also has a Lee Enfiled Mark 7 22 Trainer...

Now I can't remember all the details as I was looking at a bunch of stuff. The prices seemed steep, but I have not researched it... one of them has a Parker Hale sight, but I can't remember which, since I didn't think about it till now. Thought they may be of interest to someone here...

If anyone is interested these two rifles are at Gun-Mart 613-342-4037, call and Brian can tell you about them. He's a decent guy.

So I take it you don't know the prices the seller is asking?

As much as I would like one of those I don't think I could afford it either. Some lucky rich Gunnut will be able to.

I think the Mauser was $1750, and the Enfield $2,700... I for the life of me can't remember which was tagged with which... I was kind of blown away with the price, but they each have their own unique story so maybe...

I have seen the Enfield 7 and 9's for $800 to $1200 and have never priced the other... if they were down in that realm I might have bought both, but at that...:runaway: for the time being.

I would think the prices are reversed. The mauser is worth the most because it's rarest and we all like Nazi stuff way more than Allied stuff ;)

the #7 is the Royal Air Force 5 shot repeater not the Canadian single shot.
the K98 is a rework with a singleshot insert not the Nazi 5shot repeater.

LOL - hardly. Springfield Sporters was selling those No.7Mk1 repeters 5 years ago for around $250 each. they haven't increased in value tenfold IMHO. Seller is reaching for the stars IMHO.
