Lucky bastard !

Sorry, no more left, I bought it ALL!!!
No, not really, but I did get three crates of it today.
It kind of hurts to drop that much money all at once, but I just know that in a few years I'll be wishing I bought a lot more.
I have been through that before, where I bought a lot of something, only to wish I could have bought more a few years later.

Good guys to deal with at Lever Arms. Jeremy was most helpful, and both he and Kin were explaining how the cost of shipping ammo has gone stupid in the last year or so.
This stuff could no longer be shipped through Germany now, because Germany now requires EACH round to be marked with the caliber. A military headstamp like BXN 68 is not acceptable.
So he had to re-direct the shipment through Netherlands instead.
What a PITA!

Even still, this is a good price for ammo. I doubt a guy could reload it for this price.

ok... i'm kinda at a loss here... yup, tracers are cool no doubt there.. but where can you use them w/ regards to fire hazard? i doubt my range would be keen on tracer usage.

You don't buy tracer rounds to plink with. You buy them for when the zombie hordes become a reality.

When law and order have collapse and you can take the pin out of your normal capacity mags (also erroneously known as Hi-Cap mags) you start your mags with two-three tracers which will end up being the last rounds out of the mag. That way, when you're in the midst of a firefight and zombies are coming at you from everywhere, when you're about to go empty you get a warning in the form of red lines, to change mags. It's a handy trick and a lot of soldiers still use it today.

You'll be amazed but in the confusion of battle, when many other firearms are going off around you, when your adrenaline is pumping like crazy, your motor skills are reduced to basic and you have tunnel vision, you might not immediately be aware that your mag is empty. Tracers give you that extra bit of help recognizing that.

I like the idea of shooting tracer, but the fire hazard is real. I've seen my share of accidental fires related to fireworks, and those started 10 yards away, not 100,200,300 yards away. I can't imagine any range letting you use tracer, and bush shooting with it sounds like a forest fire waiting to happen. And this is from a guy who wants to shoot some...

I can see a few of them saying yes.

Just make sure you have a fire extinuisher :D

Anyone fired this stuff yet?
I haven't shot it yet, but I took two rounds apart and got the tracer element lit.
I expected it to burn green, as it is ComBloc stuff and they used to use green trace. Also the tip clour is green.
But it actually burns red.

Also, I got a PM from someone saying they had quite a few that din't light up.
Any other experiences?

I just cracked one of the cases I bought. Much to my surprise it's a repack with NO sealed tin. Anyone else seen this?

It had 1420 rds in the squareish boxes and 100 in rectangular boxes.

The one I opened was a sealed spam can.
My friend has one of the 3 I bought, and has not opened it yet, and I have not opened my second one.
