I was looking into these and was wondering if they are worth buying. Did you guys who bought them find they tightened up your groups ?

I have Storm Lake barrels for my G29 in 10mm & 40S&W wish I would have spent the extra cash and gotten either KKM or Barsto barrels instead.

Accuracy is ok but not as good as my other handguns that have KKM and Barsto barrels the finish also looks cheap to me...

Haven't tried my new Storm Lake barrel just yet, but the fit and finish is par excellence- not a term used loosely.

Thank you, Questar.

Not worth the money

I had 3 BarSto barrels. The 9mm Colt one was/is a tack driver. The BHP 40 cal one was not entirely finished and was a jam-o-matic. Had to have that one fixed, and the barsto in my other 40 is okay, nothing spectacular.
No KKM's but I have a couple of Lone Wolf Distributing aftermarket Glock barrels, and they are top notch.
Best value and accuracy around. Nice people to deal with too.

I'll be using my Storm Lake barrel for the first time, either tonight or tomorrow. A Few weeks ago I started a pole-thread soliciting advice & opinions on which match barrel to choose, eventually I opted for a Storm Lake.

Anyway, in the thread there are rough grouping pics I shot using the factory barrel which turned out pretty tight; honestly, I'd be impressed if the Storm Lake does much better than that... but mos def not surprised. ;)

My girlfriend and I were shooting a friend's GLOCK 19 with Storm Lake barrel a bit this past weekend. I put a couple videos on youtube.

I have shot the GLOCK 19 with the Bar-sto barrel as well. Another friend of ours from the range has one. I could not really tell the difference between them two barrels - other than that one says "Bar-sto 9mm" on the top, and the other one says "GL19 - 9mm", just like in the pictures above. I think they are both a solid product. Both seem to be more accurate than the stock GLOCK 17's.

Here's how I used to shoot my GLOCK 17 with the stock barrel:

This was one of my first times trying a G19 with the Bar-sto barrel. That is 10 hits - nearly all touching. The hit that the ruler is partly covering is a stray hit from something somebody else was shooting.

I would have some G19 with Storm Lake targets for you as well, but my girlfriend hit my target I was going to use with a bunch of stray shots! So maybe next time. I found it to be shooting well. I was a little low and to the right (stock GLOCK sights, which I don't like) but it was grouping fairly tight, circular looking, sub-3 inch groups at about 15 yards, so that is good for those guns.
