A big thanks to Mark at Canada Ammo.
My Grizz arrived today. Already ripped off the stock and slipped on a Knoxx Spec Ops with a Power Pak and a S&J single point sling mount :rockOn: .

I got the stock and Power Pak from TSE. I was just there on the weekend. They still had stock if you're interested Outcast.
The gap became much more pronounced after I installed the sling mount. Before, there was just a slight gap, but the sling mount adds over a 1/4". I'm gonna leave it in for now. It seems to fit me just fine. We'll see after I have her out for a shoot. If it bugs me, there may be a sling mount for sale on the EE :p .

Ok, cause I can't seem to sleep tonight (+27 in the house right now :mad: ) I decided to remove the sling mount early and show the original gap.

I wanted a single sling mount on my Grizzly but after seeing that gap I'm not sure it will be happening. Please lets us know how it works with that large gap once you put some rounds down range.
 
Mine was sent sig required and I had to go sign for it. I would call your local post office and raise hell. The decision to leave it on your doorstep was made by the person that delivered it.
If CanAm sent mine sig required..I would think they send them all that way.
 
unless you have the worlds smallest hands the sling mount on a pistol grip shotgun is not a problem.
most find that it males for a better LOP for the trigger finger.

sorry bud. i missed that. and i'm not too familiar with that sling mount. i think i missed it because that's not the gap i'm referring to. i actually didn't even notice it until i went back and took a real good look at those pics. the first time i saw them, i didn't take a close look an figured that it didn't make much difference.

here's the gap i'm referring to and the one i don't like. i think it kind of ruins the lines of the gun. green is the one you guys are talking about. i actually don't mind it. red is the one i thought we were talking about and it really bugs me.

Whats the overall length with the recoil stock on the 12.5, is it over 26"? I am curious I'd like to put one on mine when I get a 12.5. I am just wooried about the over all length.
