So my dad gets himself into these spots quite frequently, and usually makes out at fair or EXCELLENT prices. He seems to always find the older farmer or land owner with new or slightly used rifles from the ages for next to nothing in the rural areas he works in, but in handguns he's a bit out of his league so far...
He's just picked up a mint, possibly never fired S&W Model 41 for I think $400 bills, and the seller (all legal, registered, etc...but estate sale through a dealer) has a Dan Wesson 10 inch barrel 44 mag for sale as well, as new, again, very low to never fired condition in the original box. I don't know its age or exact model, only that it is blued, double action.
What might the 44mag be worth?
