So I want to buy the Ol'man one. Either in .45 or .40.

Am I dreaming or are there a bunch in Canada. I have the feeling they are few and far between.

Thanks for your input.

^true ...But I want a 12.6 original for my pops.

I fear they are going to be HK tacticool rifle pricing...

Anyone know for sure?

I'd be surprised if they were introduced before the 12.6 restrictions came in, I'd have thought they were introduced after 12.6. I know I didn't see any. If you're looking for an exceptional 12.6 the Sig P228 is excellent and there were quite a few in before 12.6 If the Citizen is still up you could search on "prohib Glock"

Well apparently Chuck Taylor seems to think they were released in July of '95... but wtv

Right from Glock's website.

GLOCK 26 9x19

GLOCK 26

"Baby" Glock

The triumphant advance of the smallest
GLOCK pistol, specially developed for
concealed carry and previously a
domain of 5-round snub nose revolvers,
started with the presentation of the GLOCK 26 in August
1994. The GLOCK 26 offers more than an alternative in
this field. The magazine capacity of 10 rounds as standard and the highly accurate firing characteristics explain the worldwide distribution among security personnel and secret services.

Call me crazy but I'm confident Glock knows when they introduced a pistol.

Fair enough. So while staying objective to thread topic, Wiki also cites the 26 & 27 as being released in '95. I presume by the US references stating a '95 release that the 26 & 27 were introduced into the North American market in 1995.

Hopefully this helps Pitdogboy and his heartfelt gesture. :) The last thing I bought my dad was a tin of Planter's Honey Roasted Peanuts

In all fairness, Wikipedia is crap, and can be edited by anyone. The Glock 26/27 were designed and marketed for the US market. I don't see them being released elsewhere in the world ahead of their intended market.

I think Pitdogboy might be stuck with a new import restricted version. The introduction date and the birth of C-68 are very close.

Heartfelt? Hell no! It is to piss off the old man as he is a wheel guns are real guns guy.

I really think the restriced ones look silly. Perhaps I'll try and find an AMT back-up or Colt Mustang.

Thanks anyway dudes...

I have seen a number of G27 prohibs, some of the guys are members here, I have never actually seen a G26 prohib but know there are a couple of fellows here with them...come on guys, time to out yourselves...you are better off with a G19/23 they are much nicer to shoot...

There were (if I remember correctly) 5 12.6 G27 in Canada according to that article in the paper listing postal code gun owners.
No more will be allowed to be imported, so what's here is all there is.

The one I know of is worth in excess of $3000. Yes, that's three thousand dollars, as of today's date, and it ain't for sale. Tomorrow, the number goes up.
