I am posting this if anyone is interested.

This guy has a couple Johnstons, an L39 and other Enfields, a few Garands, Mausers and Martinis and other items of interest. I emailed him and he's got 200 plus more from his collection that he wants to sell, might be worth inquiring if you are after something in particular.

Definitely a collector. E.g. Only $985 for a an actual Russian variant of the rare SKS. Browning HiPower for hardly any more than the new retail price. Breda Garand receivers for little more than twice what Marstar asks. Hope he'll haggle a bit.

Well it seems he may not be up to date with certain firearms values, all I can suggest is if you're interested in something, show him what the actual market value is. He seems like a nice guy and is open to offers and haggling. ;)

Click on an item and the price is listed under the picture. Also, clicking on the link under the picture takes you to a photo gallery of each item.

got it , thanks ... just happened to click one that was sold but they didnt state that on the index.

And there are no inspection periods for the buyer, at least not when I asked. IMO, when you are paying top dollar, that should be expected.

A fellow CGN'er from the states picked up a Remington 14 from him. He is pretty firm on his prices. Worst he could say is no. I've talked by email with him and he was friendly enough, if he has what you want maybe see if an arrangement could be made.

$976 bucks for a Remington 870 police!? he's dreaming.

$779 for the 870 Marine magnum...Wholesale lists it for $650, brand new!

he can keep his guns. it's insane what some people think their guns are worth.

Wow, yes they are high, Some are close to reasonable if you have some extra cash... yikes:eek:. The "ISRAELI CONVERSION" is twice the money for what it's worth. good pictures.

Without going into the whacked pricing, the SKS offered is close to factory mint, with all the features and markings of an unrefurbed example. Hopefully carbines of such quality are coming on the fabled Russian SKS slow boat from Vladivostok.

He's entitled to ask what he wants, as anyone is to offer whatever they are willing to give. Maybe there is some market value there that I'm not up to date on or can't see, because I'm not a collector. Norinco SKSs are under $200 and work fine. Maybe Russian ones are really rare, or that one has a story he didn't put on the advert. Same with the Hi-Power - I wonder what history makes it worth a bit more than a brand new one from recent production? Maybe those Breda Garand receivers at Marstar are used and his are unused still in factory grease, but he hasn't told us.
