Hey man...nothing wrong with that gun. I've got almost the same thing. Mine's a TC Treehawk (fully camo'd 21"bbl perc sidelock) with a 4x scope on it. Great little gun for its time 18 years ago, before 95% of hunters even heard of muzzleloaders.

Man, even as much as I like technology, I wouldn't do that to a Hawken.... That is just plain wrong although I did for a brief period of time have a caplock with a composite stock and a scope......

I'm sure others scope their hawkens, but as I see it, if your going traditional, then do it right. If you want a scoped rig, get a SS inline.

If your going to do that then why not put on of the old style brass tube scopes built as long as the barrel lenght.
