Now I'm gonna have to measure the action to make sure..As to the 204.. I'm actually looking @ installing a 260 barrel.. And making this my not hurt so bad gun instead of the 6.5X300 Win Mag.

I'm kinda excited.. but I might have to get my wife to let me buy my Christmas present early this year AGAIN..LOL..

Thanks Ed

Ed Congratulations, that said can we get a "heads up" on how? and where to measure on the action. I have a Savage 10FLP that is a couple of years old with the Accu-trigger in .308 short action? Good work BTW!!

Ed,

Thanks so much. I have been waiting for a while. Now, I openly admit that my gunsmithing skills are no where near where they need to be. With that in mind, is it a do it yourself project or should I consult a smith?

Hello Mildot,

Your Measurement is off the Center action Screw and your forward action screw
the EASIEST WAY to tell what action you have is to take the Barreled action out of your stock and see how the internal Magazine box is fit to the action = if the box is slid into slots in your action( and require special intervention from the pope to get out of the slots :runaway:) you have a regular 10fp.

Installation of the DBM does require Inletting of your stock and a I would not recommend trying to inlet the stock unless a person is comfortable with a mill/CNC. I would recommend A Smith do the install East coast I recommend www.tacord.com -Casey will look after you . On the west coast www.albertatacticalrifle.com Rick at Alberta tactical rifle has installed a bunch of VBULL DBM's and of course I would be happy to install a DBM for you as well ,(I Have installed one or two myself ;))To properly install DBM kit a smith will require your complete rifle (less optics)

Ed I have the type where the magwell(box) slides into the action
Am I able to get the conversion?
Or where do I measure from?
Cheers

Can you do a 10FPLE2A(308)? Is it available in Black too?

They look like this... That's that only thing that baby was missing...

What are spare mags worth?

You just need a smith on Ontario...

Hello Bear,

DBM has it's own trigger guard ..... IF...... You don't mind the existing(plastic) trigger guard on your stock being cut/milled away I would say yes as for a Smith in Ontario I recommend Casey Brower Of Tactical-Ordanace= www.tacord.com
