Burris Xtreme 30mm ring - Broke the bolt

I broke one of my bolt trying to tight my rings. Is there anyway I could find a replacement bolt in Montreal ? I don't like the idea to buy a new ring only for that ...

The screw for the ring? Try your local gun shop. They usually have all kinds of screws laying around.

Yeah the big ass screw. I'll try some gun shops in Montreal .. maybe LeBaron have some ...

Is it one of the ring screws or the bolt with the big nut? Nut is only torqued on to 65 in/lbs, hard to break anything at that level.

It's the bolt with the big nut. I think it wasn't placed properly and when I destroyed the threads while tightening it.

I'll take a look and see if it just a common bolt. Should be pretty easy to replace. I'll let you know later on this weekend. Take to nut to a bolt supply house and tell them you need a bolt this thread and so long, that usually works.
