good deer huntin spots alberta

fairley new to the province what are some good spots here are the places im thinking of

-lesser slave lake
-grande cache
-hinton
-drayton valley
-rockie mt house
which are the hotter spots?

It's Alberta. The deer are thicker,n maggots on a corpse everywhere. Pick a spot. Scout it well. Get off the roads and shoot a deer (or 4).

or see if you can find some property to hunt around edmonton and calgary and shoot 3 deer during the archery season....two antlerless via supplimental tag and your regularly general tag....

Drinkin' Valley & Rotten Monkey House. I hunt out there all the time. Lot's of crown land, oil lease roads and the Brazeau (sp?) dam. Deer are maggoty, great access, and the WMU's in that area open relatively early in comparison to the rest of the province.

Everywhere is good from one end of the province to the other. I would recommend staying close to the foothills.

Nordegg area is good too...which is guess is close to rocky that highway 11 is ridiculous haha deer everywhere.
