They made steel 10 rounders, and they are still available if you look really hard.

They aren't cheap however, and from what I've read the plastic ones feed every bit as good, if not better.

I have both the plastic and steel magazines (5 round capacity) and find the plastic ones to be smoother than the steel magazines. Not that either type has failed me. If I were to purchase any additional magazines I would go with the plastic ones.
