Sorry - I quoted the wrong price
When I got home I took another look at the flyer and I have to admit it is not well laid out, so its hard to determine what the price is. So, I called the store to confirm and the price for the SPS is $559.00 plus a $40.00 mail in rebate.
The $319.00 price was for a 870 express shotgun, and other guns were pictured underneath with no price. Somewhat misleading.
Sorry, I did not want to cause a stir here, the question I wanted to know was is this a good rifle.
My apologies if I got your hopes up on getting one of these for a deal!

Sps 300 Rum
I picked up an SPS SS in 300 RUM for $620 while bored over winter. I bedded it into a Bansners/Hightech stock. This rifle flat-out shoots (pun intended). Yesterday, I shot these witnessed 600 m and 700 m groups while verifying my drop chart. Who knows if I will ever shoot groups like these again, but I did on that day. This rifle is just about perfection for me and I think my cheapest.

True - but I don't shop there because:
A) (like you stated) They NEVER have anything in stock and
B) The service is terrible
I would sooner spend $50 more and buy my stuff somewhere else... I've just had too many problems over the years dealing with those clowns at LeBaron.

$559 - $40 = $519........... still not a bad deal for an SPS. Not spectacular but not bad either.

its easy enough to call them and ask if the item is in stock, then place the order if it is.
but yes, they are #%@$ing annoying. EVERY time they conveniently forget to apply my 10% discount despite me mentioning it at least twice and dictating my Club Card # to them. so after every LeBarons order arrives i need to call them, talk to customer service, and get them to issue me a credit a week later.
im starting to wonder if this is a regular practice for them - seeing as only a portion of people will notice and phone for a credit, they must make quite a bit of money this way.

i hate going too any of there stores because they never have anything in stock. but i must say i've had relly good luck with there mail order department. i've ordered several products in the past few months and fully expected them not to have the stuff in stock but to my surprise i'v received everything within a week.
yay for me!!! LOL
